About this Website

This website is provided by volunteers (The Administrators) on behalf of the village, and is used to share information to local residents, grow a history of events and happenings in and around the village, and support and promote local business.

It was made possible by the hard work of the Moorlinch Good Neighbours Social Committee who secured a generous grant to enable its development and ongoing maintenance. Big thanks to those who provided content and images, plus thanks to the software development skills of Simo El Bssir!

The Administrators run this on a voluntary and best efforts basis, to ensure the village is kept up to date on local news and issues.

The website strives to be as accurate and up to date as possible, and actively seeks content from residents of the Moorlinch and surrounding areas. However, no liability can be accepted for information which is incorrect and corrections will be made on a best efforts basis.

The Administrators reserve the right to block and remove any content they deem inappropriate without justification or explanation. Common sense should dictate whether the content is appropriate.

Any content supplied should not speak on behalf of public bodies (e.g. The Council, Church, etc) unless the author has the permission of that body to represent them. Similarly such postings should not contain personal information, financial information or similar.

There is no guarantee the site will be up and available at any time, nor are the Administrators responsible for unforeseen consequences of content or site availability (although the Administrators will endeavour to keep the site updated).  The Administrators are not responsible for the content of any linked site or any link in a linked site.

Subscribers to the village mailing list do so by giving their consent. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time. Subscriber data (Name and email) is only used to send village notifications and is never shared with any third parties.

Subscribers to the Moorlinch Facebook page must adhere to the spirit of the site facebook site and keep it a friendly space. The administrators may remove inappropriate content or block members who misuse the site.

The administrators accept no responsibility for information or content of any 3rd party links within this site.

Users of this site by default accept these terms and conditions
